McLeod is a very small community of about 22 people on ND-27, east of Lisbon, the Ransom County seat. ND-27 runs through Richland, Ransom and LaMoure Counties, carrying grain trucks and ag equipment across open Red River Valley and prairie fields. A long highway with few towns means a stalled truck can wait a long time, and our heavy wreckers bring winch and rotator equipment from the closest available unit.
