Colfax is a small Richland County city of a couple hundred people, reached from I-29 exit 37, which also serves neighboring Abercrombie. The surrounding Red River Valley farmland is flat and exposed, so ground blizzards, soft spring shoulders and fast interstate traffic are the main reasons for heavy calls. Our crews run the interstate and the county roads between Fargo and Wahpeton.
